  • 8 bulbs of fresh garlic or more to taste
  • 2 inches piece of ginger cut up into small pieces
  • 1/4 cup fish sauce
  • 2 bunchs of scallions
  • 1 cup coarse Korean chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 of large Asian radish (Daikon) cut up into small pieces
