Ingredients:

  • 1/2 c. barley
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 1/2 c.s sliced carrots
  • 1 c. sliced celery
  • 2 tbsp.s chopped fresh parsley
  • 3 chicken-flavor bouillon cubes or 3 tsp. instant c
  • 3One cup corn, peas, diced potatoes, sliced zucchini or sliced mushrooms can be added.
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning or sage
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 8 c.s water
